Serious packing going on here today! I only stopped for a quickie breakfast.

Juicy, cold fruit salad on this terribly humid, hot morning.

And then an even quicker lunch break.

 

Mixed greens, veggies and spicy couscous (cooked in vegetable stock) on a whole wheat tortilla.

The house is completely unrecognizable now. And when I think it can’t get any worse, it does. Ha ha. I think this clutter is slowly getting to me, ‘cause I’m getting grumpier by the minute. Seriously, it looks like a battle zone around here!! That’s it. I need another break. Coffee break! Whipped cream and cinnamon topping? Yes please!

Penny for your thoughts! Any practical tips on moving, packing, organizing boxes, etc.? Any idea is welcomed.

  1. Can you believe we’ve moved 4 times in 5 1/2 years? And we’ll be moving again at the end of the summer. The thing I’ve found most helpful is this. You know how each box is labled by the room it belongs in. I then add to it a generalization of what’s in it or write where it’s going. For example living room, books, closet. I’ve done this the last two times I’ve moved and we’ve been completely unpacked int two days. And I have some organization to the chaos. That’s what we’ve done. Hope all goes well for you two. ~ Shandy
