A good day.
Busy day today.
We washed and waxed both cars this morning and pumped up the tires. Whew! Our arms are really sore. Good thing we only have two cars!
Then a quickie lunch. I found some Annie’s (Back To Nature Crazy Bugs) Mac&Cheese for really cheap the other day. I’m glad we gave it a try.
According to the box it’s made with real cheese and it contains no artificial preservatives. Plus it’s pretty yummy too. It’s a great alternative when you don’t have much time.
And then doing some of that.
And then this.
Look at that! Somehow the biscuits keep magically multiplying on TS’s plate!! ![]()
yes. A good day.
I love married life!
Gingerbread
Freshly baked, warm gingerbread with French vanilla coffee. Mmmmmm… A beautiful start to a perfectly good day of work. I am thankful.
Fingerprints of God
Look at this lovely woman of God. She is beautiful in every way!!
I’ve known her ever since I can remember.
Apparently at the age of 3 we were already inseparable
We’ve witnessed each other’s life through many ups and downs over the years. And became stronger though them. It was God’s perfect way of molding us into who we are today.
And who YOU are my Friend brings much glory to Him every day.
I wish I was there today to celebrate your life with you.
Then I could sing this Steven Curtis Chapman song to you in person
Yes. I can definitely see God’s fingerprints all over your life.
“You’re a masterpiece that all creation quietly applauds.” And I know He has an amazing plan for you!!!! I feel soooo blessed to watch it unfold from the very first row!!
Because “God’s not through. No! In fact, He’s just getting started”
I am thankful for your life, but I’m even more excited to be able to call you “my sister” now!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers today. And every day.
Boldog Szülinapot draga Brigim!!!!
“You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous — and how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.” Psalm 139: 13-16
Answer to prayer!!!!!!!
So yeah. Today was Day 2 of this crazy Summer Rat Race (SRR).
TS made me breakfast!!! First day of school & first impressions=much, much more time for Reka to get ready. What can I say. He knows me too well.
2 spicy egg whites on a half of ww tortilla, iceberg lettuce and a grapefruit.
Family tradition: don’t forget to turn back and wave before you leave
What? No parking space? Look at all these cars! Is anyone out there having a normal, college-free summer?
I think I’ll def. need an umbrella today. what a crazy Ohio weather. (Question to you natives: is it considered embarrassing among young people in America to carry an umbrella? Just because I hardly ever see anyone with an umbrella. Anyways. Just wondering…)
Hours, and hours, and more hours of lecture…
Although I really like my new professors and the material is very interesting, Sarah Lee had to come to the rescue. Meet Sarah Lee: the best Cinnamon Roll Cappuccino that’s out there!
Lunch was packed: barbequed TVP (textured vegetable protein) rolled in a lettuce leaf, baby carrots, oranges, grapefruits and blackberries.
It held me over until I got home and had this: spinach with some cheesy veggie leftovers from yesterday’s dinner, and a strawberry-banana smoothie (sprinkled with cinnamon and coconut).
Some highlights of the day:
A surprise mail delivery from TS. (I absolutely loooove surprises!!) He ordered new batteries for my laptop, because the one I had completely died. Aww, isn’t he so thoughtful?
And a quick visit to World Market to pick up some cute little multicultural kitchen stuff!!! Anyone else out there loves this store as much as I do?
But the biggest highlight of the day is……….(drumrolls)………..
This:
That’s right!
I’m getting a piano tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For freeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’ve been praying for a piano ever since I had to leave the one I grew up with in Romania.
God is good.
I just can’t tell you how excited I am! I was literally bouncing of the walls earlier.
The family (support team) will be here in less than an hour with pick-up trucks and trailers!!
Better go and get ready!
