Healthy Snacks

Crunchy Banana Chips
2-3 ripe bananasimage
1 T. lemon juice
sea salt, cinnamon and any other spices

Cut the bananas into thin slices. Coat the slices in lemon juice.
Place the banana slices on parchment paper and bake them in the oven at 200 F, turning every half hour and watching out for burning (takes about 1 hour). Remove them when they are crispy and sprinkle them with spices. Let them cool, and store them in an airtight container.

Kale chips
1 bunch kale
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon seasoned salt

Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a non insulated cookie sheet with parchment paper.
With a knife or kitchen shears carefully remove the leaves from the thick stems and tear into bite size pieces. Wash and thoroughly dry kale with a salad spinner. Drizzle kale with olive oil and sprinkle with seasoning salt. Bake until the edges brown but are not burnt, 10 to 15 minutes.
